GAMBA Forest stands as a versatile haven for the arts, encompassing a gallery, recording studio, literary lounge, and live performance venue all under one roof. Beyond serving as a space for artistic creation and exhibition, this multifaceted establishment extends its offerings to artists and bands seeking a room for their production needs. Throughout the week, the venue pulsates with vibrant parties spotlighting spoken word artists, poets, rappers, singers, DJs, and producers, all sharing their talents with an engaged, composed audience. At its core, GAMBA Forest forms a genuine community, extending its welcoming embrace to artists, enabling them to connect and flourish.

To mark its relocation, the visionaries behind GAMBA Forest orchestrated a triumphant celebration by commissioning three distinctive murals, each adorning the venue for a three-month period. Among these, ALBOE was chosen to grace the west wall with captivating cartoons.

This creative direction gave birth to a mural that exudes a jungle-inspired ambiance, featuring whimsical characters known as The Nuggets, accompanied by huts and mischievous monkeys. The scene is further enriched with blimps soaring above, and intricately woven folktales concealed within the composition, delivering a subtle yet powerful narrative. Through this visual masterpiece, the mural encapsulates the sprawling and collaborative community that Gamba Forest has nurtured within its Greenpoint studio.
